The four-year veteran was injured in Thursday night’s preseason opener against the New York Giants, a 13-10 Detroit victory.     Domestic violence charges against Detroit Lions safety Kalvin Pearson have been dropped, the Hillsborough County state attorney’s office said Monday. Pearson, who played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 2005-07, was arrested April 26 and charged with aggravated battery on a pregnant woman and domestic battery by strangulation, both felonies.
