    Tampa Bay offensive lineman Davin Joseph injured his foot during Sunday night’s preseason victory over New England and could be out for the Buccaneers’ season opener. The Tampa Tribune and St. Petersburg Times reported the third-year guard, the Bucs’ first-round draft pick two seasons ago, underwent surgery for a broken foot.

    Running back J.D. Runnels signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Saturday. The free agent was a sixth-round pick by the Chicago Bears in 2006. The Bucs also released tackle Luke Petitgout, who had been on the physically unable to perform list. Petitgout signed with the Bucs as a free agent in 2007.
