Injuries hitting Cardinals (AP)
Tuesday, August 19th, 2008Free safety Antrel Rolle and tight end Ben Patrick will miss Saturday’s game at Oakland because of high ankle sprains, Arizona Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt said Monday. Rolle was initially diagnosed early last week with a mild sprain, but an MRI later in the week confirmed the injury was more severe.

Cardinals get first preseason win, 27-17 over KC (AP)
Sunday, August 17th, 2008Matt Leinart may be facing more competition from Kurt Warner than Arizona fans had thought. Coach Ken Whisenhunt raised a few eyebrows Saturday night by giving Warner the start against Kansas City. And the 11-year veteran threw some nice passes, directing a 78-yard touchdown drive in the Cardinals’ 27-17 victory over the punchless Chiefs.
