After working with the trainers and strength coaches for his first two-plus months in Washington, defensive end Erasmus James finally took the next step toward making his Redskins debut when he participated in individual drills on Aug. 11.
“It felt good and I’m very excited about tomorrow when we actually put the pads on,” James said after his first session in shells. “It definitely felt like I was part of the team, but it kinda sucks when you’re not out there with those guys.”
